There is no tree other than the Maple tree which is associated to the fall with the most intimacy. Maple may be categorised into various varieties, some of which are listed below.
The Amur Maple or what is popularly known as the Acer ginnala in the science world is a tree that is easy for transplantation. The leafing out is carried out by this tree generally around the time of the early spring. The tree is pest free mostly and the shade casted by it is quite dense.
The Acer Nikoense or what is generally known as Nikko maple is a deciduous tree and has a very slow growth rate as compared to the other maples. The site requirements of this tree comprise of an area with ample of sunlight and the soil needed for this tree has to be well drained. The shape of this tree resembles a vase. Also similar to many other maples it is again easy for transplantation. The fall colour of this tree is unique and the hardiness zone of this tree is generally 5-7.
The Norway maple is also a deciduous plant and the speed of its growth is moderate. This plant needs an area with at least 10 hours of sunlight and the soil needed for is of a wide variety. This plant is capable of handling rough conditions like dry and hot weather. It has a dense volume and the crown of the tree is symmetrical in shape. The hardiness zone of this tree is 3-7 units.
