How to grow magic mushrooms?

For growing magic mushrooms one must have a pressure cooker, preferably the one with 17 quart liquid capacity; new canning jars, 12 in numbers, with lid and a wide mouth and a capacity of 1 quart. Brown rice is another necessary requirement, but they should be without any preservatives. In some cases however, long grain or commonly known as wild rice may show better results. The place where all the equipments and jars are to be kept must be neat. Optimum temperatures may be 70F-86F. With the fall in temperature a fall in the growth rate of the crop may be witnessed. Therefore keeping the mushroom jars in refrigerators must be completely avoided as it may end up killing the mushrooms. Contrary to popular belief even temperatures higher than required may end up spoiling the mushrooms.

A simple procedure has to be followed which goes like this: Any kind of cooling equipment must be turned off. One must read the users’ manual if available and then setup the pressure cooker for the task. Going through users’ manual is a mandate because sometime the pressure cookers may be hazardous to human life. All the equipment including jars and lids must be properly washed before use. The hygiene of the person performing the task is equally important. The jar is placed on the bottom rack of the cooker. Directions for the sealing of the pressure cooker are to be accurately followed. The stove is turned on to the highest degree and the pressure inside the cooker is allowed to reach 15lbs and once it reaches that pressure it is maintained for an hour or so, after that the cooker is cooled. Washing the cooker before opening is recommended. The jars are taken out and allowed to match with the room temperature.
