Balloon flower plant

The balloon flower plant has beautiful star shaped flowers in colours ranging from blue, purple to white. The buds of the plant are inflated like a balloon and so the name “balloon flower” plant. The balloon flower plant is native to Japan, Korea, Northern and Eastern Siberia.Although they do survive in dry conditions, a well moist condition would be the best.

These are perennial plants, which grow up to a height ranging from 12 to 18”. They need good sunlight and a very rich, fertile and well-drained soil.
