How to grow marijuana

Growing marijuana is easy when done in an environment conducive to its growth, just like any other plant. Generally, a marijuana plant requires about eight to ten hours of sun light to grow well.

The precautions that are required while growing a crop like marijuana are manifold since you need to protect it from the natural harmful agents that affect a plant as well as the authorities and random passerby who will both almost surely steal your marijuana and use it, including the possibility of you getting arrested.

The ideal time to be planting marijuana is the period between April and May. It can be grown both indoors and outdoors with different schools of thought suggesting different things. The most favored technique of growing Marijuana has been by growing it as an outdoor plant. A simple reason for that being that when Marijuana is in its natural habitat it grows well.

There are two theories about how to plant marijuana outdoors. One says that you should directly plant the seeds in the area that you have prepared for the farming, and let the plants grow there themselves. The other school of thought says that initial preparation should be done in doors in a box of soil and then the entire set up should be transplanted to the prepared area. Both schools are equally successful as there is wastage of saplings during both methods.

The preparation of soil is done mostly by addition of a cup of lime that has been hydrated per square yard and then turning the soil a couple of time. Another essential is nitrogen fertilizers that are easily soluble in water. Water the soil several times, and allow it to sit for a week. Plant the seeds or saplings three feet apart for them to have adequate sunlight.
